本アーカイブは、株式会社生駒時計店の公式ウェブサイトとは別に、生駒時計店（および生駒ビルヂング）が所蔵してきた昭和初期の商品カタログやその他の周辺資料を中心に、後世への記憶と記録の継承を目的として編集・整備しているものです。
This archive presents digitised and organised materials from the pre-war collection held by G. Ikoma, Ltd. (Ikoma Tokei-ten, founded Meiji 3 / 1870) and Ikoma Building Co., Ltd. (2-2-12 Hiranomachi, Chuo-ku, Osaka). The collection encompasses product catalogues, architectural drawings, and sales documents from the pre-war era, assembled with the purpose of preserving these records for future generations.
The majority of materials date from the early Shōwa period (1930s) and are maintained as primary sources documenting the commercial practices of the period in watches, decorative goods, and craft objects; the Art Deco aesthetic of the era; and the firm's domestic and international trade relationships.
